Hazel

In late fall to winter, Hazel Grouses (Tetrastes bonasia) come from mid-forest to clearcut areas.

Female.

Male.
And they feed on fruits.

Wild grape.

A kind of cherry.

    I think hazel grouse is rare in southern Hokkaido.
